The Lauderhill Broncos Football & Cheer Club was established in the mid-1990’s. At that time it was known as PAL Broncos and was a proud member the South Florida Youth Football League (SYFL).

During the late 90’s, football was the core of the sports program in the city. Games were held on Friday and Saturday nights at West Ken Lark Park and were definitely the center of attention.

In the early 2000’s, the football program split from PAL, and that’s when the Lauderhill Broncos came into existence and later joined the Greater Miami South Florida Pop Warner League.

In 2018, the newly organized Lauderhill Broncos Football & Cheer Club joined  the American Youth Football League (AYFL). Joining forces with the AYFL and the family-style atmosphere attributes to  the growth the Broncos organization promotes. Being the underdog yet with over 250+ kids joining our program within the last year,  the Broncos are were able to field nine age-division football squads, finishing the season ranked No. 6 in club standings with a total of 33 wins. 4 of 7 of our eligible competing squads made it to playoffs making us one of the most rivaled teams in the AYFL league ending the 2018 season..

Cheerleading is most often associated with football. Lady Broncos Cheerleading prides itself on having some of the best cheerleaders in the league by maintaining an open mind about training and implementing new and exciting methods. Our staff has been trained and continues to train with only the best. Lady Broncos is a team of almost 100 athletes and growing. The cheerleaders  participate in games and events showcasing their gymnastic, all-girl stunting skills, and dance skills. In order to be the best, we compete with the best. All (7) Lady Bronco Cheer squads placed in the end of season AYFLC Competition with (2) teams ranked SUPERIOR.

In its nearly thirty years of existence, several former Lauderhill Broncos football players and cheerleaders have gone on to participate in area high school athletic programs, and others have participated at the college level. JoJo Natson former Lauderhill Broncos ballplayer went on to play in the National Football League. The Lauderhill Broncos youth football and cheer  program continues its rich legacy of turning out quality football standouts and academic stalwarts.
