The American Youth Football League Inc.
To provide a Football League that is to benefit children by establishing rules and regulations governing such games, contests, competitions, and exhibitions classifying those who participate therein; determining and defining awards and prizes for winning contest, defining and awarding tokens and insignia of championships, determining and defining breaches and infractions of its rules and regulations, and imposing penalties as set forth in the Bylaws and in accordance with the law.
Objectives:
• To promote and maintain physical exercise, physical fitness, and moral well being of children.
• To engage, assist, encourage, participate, and teach American Football.
• To further sportsmanship and honor among children in a competitive atmosphere.
• To promote and oversee amateur games, contests, sports, and athletics while elevating the standards and competitive level of amateur athletics.
• To foster and encourage community pride through local amateur athletics.
• To instill wholesome values in youngsters and young adults.
• To assist in combating juvenile delinquency by providing and promoting the physical and emotional well being of young athletes.
• All other ways as are necessary in order to accomplish our mission and objectives.

Concussion Policy

All concussions must be reported to your league rep and your league rep will report all concussions to the league secretary by email within 72 hours of incident.

All players believed to have sustained a possible concussion at a game or practice are not permitted to dress or participate until medical clearance from a doctor has been received, specifically stating the child is cleared to resume tackle football activities.

Any coach/club who knowingly plays a concussed player without clearance will be charged with playing an ineligible player and suspended a minimum of one game plus any sanctions (under ineligible players bylaw)

All AYFL coaches must sign the AYFL Coaches Responsibility form. All players and their parent/guardian must sign the AYFL Concussion Acknowledgement form. These forms will be provided by your AYFL League Rep.
